In the last decade, the focus and methods used for Green Infrastructure (GI) Best Management Practices (BMP’s) is shifting from “green field” development practices to the application of GI BMP’s in mature urban neighborhoods. This article discusses using a process, developed by LSSE and the 3RWW Project Management Team, to help local municipalities identify, screen, size, cost, and evaluate effectiveness of GI projects at the conceptual level on a large scale basis within their own sewer systems.
