As part of its role on the 3 Rivers Wet Weather (3RWW) Program Management Team and subsequent to the 3RWW Green Infrastructure Pilot Project. LSSE provided engineering planning services and lead technical assistance for the ALCOSAN Source Control Study to develop a process to identify site locations for installation of Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) in the combined sewer areas of the ALCOSAN Service Area. The purpose of the work was to provide municipalities with a graphical representation of the site locations where GSI would find favorable conditions. This was the first step in the evaluation of various sites leading to improvements to decrease the volume of stormwater entering the combined sewer systems within their municipalities.
