Washington Mall Redevelopment – Demolition
Washington Mall Redevelopment – Phase 1, Demolition
The scope of this project includes comprehensive design, due diligence, and surveying services to support the phased redevelopment of the Mall property for 79/70 Associates, beginning in Winter 2024. Phase One consists of demolition-related services, including surveying, design specifications, utility relocations, and Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) permitting. Phase Two includes design, permitting, and Township approvals for a subdivision and three separate Land Development Applications.
Redevelopment components include the renovation of approximately 70,000 square feet of the existing mall into a premier indoor RV dealership showroom, requiring Conditional Use and Use by Special Exception approvals; redevelopment of the remaining mall property into a 159,000 square foot Warehouse Club with a fuel station, including Conditional Use approval for the fuel station; and construction of a new 16,000 square foot retail building to relocate Harbor Freight, which requires Zoning Variance approval for a setback encroachment.
