Louisiana Avenue Stormwater Improvement
LSSE provided engineering, permitting, and surveying services for a stormwater management and stream erosion improvement project that included a Base Bid and four add alternates for storm sewer improvements along Lasalle Avenue and Louisiana Avenue. LSSE’s scope of services for all phases of the project included:
- Approximately 175 LF of 18″, 175 LF of 15″, 100 LF of 30″ and 10 LF of 36″ corrugated polyethylene pipe
- Concrete, inlets, and the replacement of an existing manhole and outlet structure
- 125 LF of concrete curb
- Installation of a stilling basin and all necessary appurtenances, slope stabilization, and restoration for said construction.
- The Authority awarded the Base Bid of the project, which included: construction of the stilling basin, outlet structures, and manhole. The project also included the installation of a set of twin inlets along Lasalle Avenue to intercept runoff that was eroding the road, shoulder, and slope, and conveyed the runoff to the reconstructed outfall
