Martinsburg Nitrate Removal Water Treatment System

LSSE provided planning, design, permitting, and construction-phase services for an innovative potable water treatment project to remove nitrate from the drinking water supply of the Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, Water System. This treatment facility has a very small carbon footprint, consuming substantially less energy and natural resources than typical conventional treatment alternatives. Compared with conventional nitrate removal processes, this project is projected to save system users more than $3 million in life-cycle costs.
