The project included the rehabilitation of the existing Baldwin Borough Municipal Swimming Pool. Improvements included: subgrade evaluation via ground penetrating radar and void grouting; repairs to existing, leaking, concrete pool structure; adaptive reuse of existing, repaired pool structure including installation of new pool liner and gutter system, replacement of pool piping and mechanical components (recirculation pumps, piping, valves, etc., pool heater replacement, and electrical upgrades), site improvements including concrete deck replacement, and site lighting improvements, conversion of existing pool “shallow end” to a zero entry area with splash/spray features and ADA accessible access ramp, and replacement of slide and diving board.
