LSSE provided design services included topographic surveys, roadway reviews and inlet assessments. The scope of work generally includes the interior and exterior renovations of a 13,500 SF municipal building including select demolition and removal of existing interior and exterior materials, framing, interior walls, shelving and casework, partitions, slab on grade, foundation work, roof framing, handrails, stairs, columns, masonry, standing seam metal roofing system; EPDM roof system, floor finishing, restrooms and toilet room accessories, various floor types, man doors, windows, glazing, acoustical tile ceiling; and all necessary appurtenances in accordance with these Specifications and Contract Drawings.
LSSE provided comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for the renovation of the Center Township Municipal Building. Mechanical work included the full replacement of the existing HVAC system with four new rooftop units, ductwork, louvers, diffusers, electric heaters, exhaust fans, and duct detectors. Plumbing improvements included connections to existing water and sanitary services, installation of a new water heater and circulation pump, roof drain connections to stormwater, gas supply piping for the new HVAC units, and all associated drainage piping and fixtures.
Fire protection upgrades included a new sprinkler system with fire department connections and associated piping throughout the building. Electrical work encompassed complete interior and exterior lighting upgrades, including emergency lighting, touchscreen switches, receptacles, data outlets, and fire alarm systems, as well as exterior bollards, pedestrian, parking lot, flagpole, and entrance lighting with all associated conduit, wiring, and connections to mechanical equipment.
