Crawford VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic

For the construction of a 15,500 square foot VA medical office on a 5.766-acre parcel in Vernon Township, Pennsylvania, LSSE provided civil engineering and surveying services under subcontract to the owner/developer (Crawford VA, LLC).

Located in the Vernon Place Subdivision, the project required LSSE to provide services such as property boundary determination, topographic surveying, ALTA Land Title Survey, and site design. Design services included stormwater management, grading plans, parking lot layout, landscape architectural features, utility connections, including design of a heated water service enclosure to meet Township requirements, and ADA-compliant sidewalks and parking spaces.

LSSE prepared Stormwater Management Plans, Land Development Plans, utility availability letters, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Highway Occupancy Permit, and aided in the transfer of an active NPDES permit from Meadville Medical Center before construction could begin. During construction, LSSE provided surveying services to lay out the building, parking lot, and concrete curbing.
